Arrival to Hagenberg by car

- From Linz
The Software Park is located approx. 25 km from the Linz City Centre. One arrives to Hagenberg from Linz via the A7 motorway which ends shortly before Hagenberg. At the end of the A7, one takes the B124 federal highway for approx. 3 km, before turning left in the direction of Hagenberg. Signposts point the way to the Software Park. After around 2 km of local road, Hagenberg Castle and Software Park appear on the left. The journey from Linz to Software Park takes approx. 20 minutes.

- From Freistadt
One takes the B125 federal highway in the direction of Linz. After approx. 15 km, one turns left in the direction of Hagenberg. Signposts point the way to the Software Park.

- From Vienna
The shortest way from Vienna to Hagenberg is via the A1 motorway. One turns right to the B123 highway and then via St. Valentin and Mauthausen to the direction of Pregarten. Before Pregarten one turns left to the direction of Hagenberg. Signposts point the way to the Softwarepark

- From Salzburg
From Salzburg via the A1 motorway to the direction of Linz. Then via the A7 motorway to the direction of Prague. At the end of the A7, one takes the B125 federal highway for approx 3 km, before turning left to the direction of Hagenberg. Signposts point the way to the Softwarepark.

- From Graz
From Graz via the A9 motorway up to the junction “Voralpenkreuz”. Then via the A1 motorway up to the junction of Linz and then the A7 motorway to the direction of Prague.

- From Germany
Via Munich/Salzburg: the A1 motorway up to the junction of Linz and then the A7 motorway to the direction of Prague.
Via Passau: the A8 motorway (border crossing in Suben) to the junction of Linz. Then the A7 motorway to the direction of Prague.

Arrival to Hagenberg by train

Hagenberg is located along the railway line Linz-Budweis-Prag. The closest railway station is in Pregarten at the distance of 4 km from Hagenberg. The journey from the main railway station from Linz to Pregarten takes approx. 45 minutes.

Arrival to Hagenberg by bus

There is a public bus connection from Linz to Hagenberg. Most of the busses drive directly via the motorway so the journey from Linz to Hagenberg by bus takes approx. 45 minutes. The bus station in Linz is located near the railway station so if traveling to Linz by train, one can change to the bus directly.

Arrival to Hagenberg by air

The closest airport is in Linz, the “Blue Danube Airport” (LNZ). From there you can fly directly to Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Graz, Salzburg, Vienna and Zurich. Then one can arrive to Hagenberg by using public transportation (shuttle bus to Linz) or taxi.
